Grampian 28 Info From Used Sailboat Market in Central Canada

This is Haefen, a 1977 Grampian 28, pictured in her slip in 2007.  I found this boat after seaching for a year on the Web and in boat yards around my area.  2008 will be my fourth year with this boat.

I was originally looking for a Hunter (30, 320, 306 or the like) or maybe a Sea Gib 33.  But to be honest, the available ones were either very new (i.e. lots of $$$$) or they were ugly junk ("fix'er uppers" / "project boats")

A little info on the name: Haefen is from the old english Hæfen  which means harbour, or in the current english Haven.  Basically a place of security and peace!

Haefen is docked in the Bronte Outer Harbour Marina, G20.
